Managing Application and Infrastructure Cloud Services with CSA

Cloud is not one size fits all. Different workloads should be in different places. One of the big questions asked by CIOs is how do I pull everything together in a way that’s transparent to the end user? Cloud Service Automation (CSA) offers a single portal where customers can request the cloud solution they need. CSA helps avoid vendor lock-in with support for multiple hypervisors and hardware platforms, along with integration with third-party solutions. Where you put things may evolve over time – having that portability with common infrastructure like OpenStack makes it easier to balance, while having a single place to source all cloud services makes it easier for the end-user to get what they need. At HP Discover, Ken Won and Christian Verstraete shared insights on the challenges of cloud computing and how CSA can address them.
