Justin Sider – Automated Infrastructure as a Service testing with VMware NSX

Organizations can now simulate entire real world infrastructures in a completely automated and isolated environment using the VMware NSX platform. Available automation tools perform application, infrastructure, and user experience testing but they are performed in isolation. This limits the full cycle testing capabilities which impact performance. Test Driven IaaS (TDIS) is the holy grail of testing, with the ability to deploy infrastructure services, applications, services, and perform end-user testing. TDIS powered by NSX combines all of this testing to automate the entire Application Lifecycle to achieve organizational goals.NSX provides the DevOps engineers the ability to treat infrastructure items like a piece of software, mixing and matching infrastructure services to meet the needs of the IaaS.
